Mission

Lutheran High School of the Rockies will play a role in the development of each student’s personal relationship with Jesus Christ, nurture them as redeemed children of God, and equip them in a safe environment to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world.

Objectives

1) Foster intellectual growth of young people in a Lutheran Christian community.
2) Promote respectful and caring attitudes among students, parents, and faculty.
3) Encourage responsibility and accountability.
4) Build self-worth as a redeemed member of the family of God.
5) Instill a spirit of servanthood to God and community.
6) Equip young people to be disciples who are growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Impact

--Students are nurtured in their Christian faith; brought to Jesus; receive a high quality education; participate in excellent programs, are supported by Christian teachers and friends in a safe environment.

--Families have confidence that their children are learning in a safe, caring environment where Biblical values and principles are taught. Christian friendships develop among the families in the area the high school serves.

--Churches see young people nurtured in their Christian faith and equipped for ministry now and in years to come; benefit from the focus on youth ministry and the opportunities for student service.

--The community benefits from youth who have a growing sense of accountability to God, self and others, and who have a spirit of serving.
