Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Denver provides temporary shelter, meals and supportive services for families experiencing homelessness in the Greater Denver community. The program is unique in its partnership with diverse communities of faith and its high use of volunteers. The program provides families with children with 24-hours of shelter and three meals a-day for up to 90 days. The Network also provides comprehensive case management services. IHN of Greater Denver develops individualized “self-sufficiency plans” for each guest family. The Case Manager works with each family to help them reach their goals and facilitate their move into a positive housing situation. Over 70% of the families who have been guests of the Network moved into housing when they exit the Network. Contributions received through vehicle donations will help to cover the costs associated with providing shelter, meals, transportation assistance and case management services. |
